First-time Buyers

If you have never purchased a property before then you are classed as a First-time buyer. Some first-time buyers can benefit from a low deposit of 5% and do not need to pay any Stamp-duty Land tax on their first property worth up to £300,000.

At Cassidy Mortgages we understand that buying your first house can be exciting, as well as overwhelming. We are here to ensure that First-time buyers utilise the benefits offered to secure their dream home at ease.

Home Movers

Moving home can be quite complicated as it involves considering a couple of points. In most instances, the client needs to assess the benefits against the costs of moving house. Borrowers also need an indication of how much they can actual borrow and an Agreement in Principle before looking for a new house.

Here at Cassidy Mortgages we make moving home simple and stress-free by assisting you from start to finish. If you are unsure about how much you can borrow, give us a call or book a free telephone consultation and we help you obtain an Agreement in Principle with a lender so you can start the search for your next home.

Re-mortgages

Re-mortgaging is simply switching from one lender to another at the end of a product deal. Re-mortgaging is predominantly used to prevent overpaying on a Standard Variable Rate of interest set by lenders and to switch to a more competitive deal. In some cases, clients may re-mortgage to borrow additional funds, reduce term or to release any equity from your home.

When Cassidy Mortgages arranges your mortgage, we will review your mortgage at set intervals to ensure we re-mortgage your house to the best and suitable deal, saving you money each time.

Buy-to-let

Buy-to let mortgages involves buying a property to rent out so the can borrower benefit from an additional source of income. Buy-to-lets require a higher deposit than residential mortgages and in most cases the maximum amount you can borrow is linked to the amount of  rental income you expect to receive.

Whether you are a first-time landlord or a professional property investor, Cassidy Mortgages are here to ensure you get the most appropriate deal.
